Passu peak is situated near Batura Muztagh (Muchutsil) Passu Saddle. Passu peak 7478m/23897 ft, (36-29N- 74-37E)Passu Peak (7,478M) expedition, Passu Peak was first time climbed in 1978 by Japan/Pakistan (Joint expedition) National Defence Academy Alpine Club led by Captain Citoshe Ando and Major Manzoor Hussain Pakistan Army side.There is an easy approach from Islamabad, Gilgit, Hunza and Passu village or Borit Lake, from here you can start trek to Passughar, Luzdar, Patundas Pass 4200m and trek down to Passu Peak BC. It is nice campsite here with small beautiful Lake.
